BABA’S was founded as a vegan eatery and gathering place for people looking to eat, create, live, and thrive locally. We’re a community of chefs, artists, bakers, construction people, parents, activists, businesspeople, students, firefighters, and teachers (to scratch the surface), dedicated to being kinder to our bodies and the planet. We source most of our fresh ingredients from Ohio farmers, and many of the rest come from Cleveland small businesses. From power bowls to artisanal sandwiches, donuts, cupcakes, and beyond, we have your vegan and gluten-sensitive eating needs covered.

In addition to being a community café, we cater both our sweet and savory offerings and provide wholesale services to local businesses and institutions. We also provide a market for Cleveland makers to showcase and sell their products: like organic cold press juice, medicinal salves, paintings, literature, and cakes. Be sure to check the calendar for our workshops, live music, special menus, and more!

We were formerly named Poison Berry Bakery, under the previous ownership of our friends, Jon and Jen.
